We were contacted by the customer in Bawtry, South Yorkshire regarding a flowing screed pour that they required for an underfloor heating system they were installing to their new kitchen/diner.
How we undertook the job in South Yorkshire
The customer had decided to undertake their own floor preparation prior to the pour. Upon arriving on site in South Yorkshire, the first thing we did was to double check the floor preparation had been undertaken to a high standard. This ensure that our pour will be seamless and not be effected by any mistakes made during the preparation.
The surface area of the kitchen was 35 m2, we recommended a fast drying Cemfloor liquid screed to the customer due to it’s quality and durability.. Upon sign-off from the customer were ready to start work on the pour.
We poured in 2.1m3 worth of the Cemfloor screed to a depth of 60mm using our state-of-the-art Putzmeister SP11 pump. Upon hitting the 60mm mark we ensured we had achieved a level pour. Then all of our leveling tripods we removed, the screed was then dappled leaving a perfectly even finish to the room.
The end results
The customer was very happy with the work with the finished results and was kind enough to leave the following review
“We were very happy with the work from FlowTech. The price was good, but most importantly the screed was poured professionally and the end results are fantastic”
